Tianqi Zhan is a PhD student at University College London, working in Prof. Steve Fleming’s lab as part of the CODE Doctoral Network. She completed her MRes in Cognitive Neuroscience at UCL under Prof. Marco Wittmann’s supervision to study metacognition within social contexts. Her current research focuses on the mechanisms underlying metacognitive control, specifically how confidence influences information-seeking and behavioral offloading across the lifespan.

Alejandro is a PhD student at the Laboratoire des Systèmes Perceptifs (ENS, Paris). He received his Master’s degree at the University College London where he explored the relationship between confidence and cognitive control. He is currently working on multisensory integration and metacognitive control. Outside the lab, Alejandro enjoys swimming, diving and discovering new places.
