Rodrigo Raimundo – Computational and neural mechanisms of confidence formation
Supervisor: Janneke Jehee (RU)
Rodrigo Raimundo, supervised by Janneke Jehee, investigates how uncertainty in sensory inputs shapes our confidence and decision-making using fMRI.
in our daily lives, we change our behavior based on the uncertainty in our sensory inputs – like driving more carefully when visibility is low. By decoding brain activity about visual signals using fMRI, my PhD will focus on the link between this uncertainty and the confidence we feel in our own decisions, and how confidence signals might be used to act more efficiently.
